Troubleshooting
macOS says the app is from an unidentified developer
Right-click the app, then Open, then click Open. This is only needed once. A notarized build (no warning at all) requires an Apple Developer certificate.
Apple Notes permission was denied
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation. Find "Documentor Sync" and enable the toggle for "Notes". Then click "Check Again" in the app.
Connection test fails
Verify you can reach documentory.work in your browser. If you're on a VPN or corporate network, the firewall may be blocking the connection.
Where are the logs?
Logs are at ~/Library/Application Support/DocumentorSync/documentor-sync.log. Or from the app: Settings → Diagnostics → View Log File. System logs: Console.app, filter work.documentory.sync.
